How does the score guarantee work?

We guarantee after completing IELTS lessons and practice, you'll see an overall band score improvement of +0.5 points, or we'll give you all your money back.

How does the refund policy work?

If you've subscribed to a plan other than the 1-Week option and you are unhappy for any reason, email us within 7 days of purchasing, and we will give you a full refund. No strings attached. Unfortunately, if you've purchased the 1-Week subscription, we will be unable to offer a refund. As a note, if you've purchased Magoosh using a non-US credit card and request a refund, sometimes your credit card company will keep the foreign currency transaction fee.

What types of payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. We process all our transactions through PayPal, so your credit card info is safe.

How many times will I be charged?

Just one time for any paid plan. We don't store your credit card information, so we definitely won't charge you on a monthly basis or anything like that. It's a one-time, upfront fee, and that's it.

Can I purchase multiple IELTS accounts?

How does the course work?

It’s 100% online. No DVDs. No books. It works on both Macs and PCs: any device with an internet connection!

Who should use Magoosh?

Anyone can use Magoosh, but it's best for individuals who fall into one of the following categories:

• Self-studiers: those who prefer to study on their own time and at their own pace.
• Video-lovers: those who learn better by watching video than through reading or live-learning.
• Busy students and professionals: those who do not have much time to study and want to sneak in a practice session here and there.

Do I need to have taken the test before?

No! Many of our students are first-time IELTS test-takers, so if you're ready to start studying now, you should go ahead and sign up! Our lessons start from the beginning and teach you everything you need to know about the IELTS, so taking the test previously is not required.

Can I get help with material from other test prep sites or books?

We do not answer questions about outside sources. We're a small team, and to keep our prices affordable for students, we prioritize Magoosh and officially released materials. :)

Do you have iPad/iPhone/Android access?

Yes, we do! You can access all of the lessons anywhere with our apps, and you can use your mobile browser to get full access to the site.
